VES Care is a propriety managed service solution which proactively monitors every aspect of your voice and/or data network operations. This performance monitoring identifies and assesses potential problems before they can have an impact on your network, thus ensuring you of maximum productivity. VES Care is designed to put your mind at ease and help you budget your system support costs more easily.
Your VES Care Managed Services Program is tailored to fit you. A VES certified engineer performs an analysis of your system and network needs then designs a VES Care Managed Services Program that is best for you.
Standard Coverage is the during business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays in the time zone of the covered equipment).
Some systems may require remote monitoring with full activity reporting on all alarms 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and this can be included in your customized plan.
VES Care monitors your voice and/or data network for:
- Faults - provides alerts that enable identification of problems based on pre-defined threshold limits.
- Performance - monitors critical functions/components such as (in data) CPUs, memory, hard drives, WAN circuits, (in voice) mail capacities, response times, incoming queue distribution, all enabling the rapid identification of potential problems (such as over-subscription) in advance of impact.
- Security - scans run continually, identifying and alerting you immediately to potential vulnerabilities that affect critical business operations.
- Intrusions - identifies and documents "Who is doing what to Whom" within host resources, providing audit trails on the use of the "admin" password as well as access and privileges within a Windows computing environment.
- Reporting - provides in-depth reports, summary overviews and analyses which give you the facts on hardware performance, bandwidth utilization, vulnerabilities and much more, enabling premium system optimization and capabilities forecasting.
- Pre-emptive Service – provides performance of quarterly backups & hardware check-ups
